La serie dramática ambientada en urgencias “The Pitt” encabezó las nominaciones a los Emmy de este año, anunciadas el miércoles, con 25 candidaturas, mientras que la última temporada de “Hacks” obtuvo 24 nominaciones, una cifra récord para una comedia en un solo año.
Los votantes también nominaron a “The diplomat”, “The gilded age”, “A knight of the Seven Kingdoms”, “Paradise”, “Pluribus”, “Slow horses” y “Your friends and neighbors” al máximo galardón de los Emmy, el de mejor serie dramática.
En la categoría de mejor comedia, “Hacks” competirá con “Abbott Elementary”, “The Bear”, “Margo’s got money troubles”, “Nobody wants this”, “Only murders in the building”, “Shrinking” y “Widow’s Bay”.
Los ganadores de los Emmy se darán a conocer en una ceremonia con alfombra roja que se celebrará en Los Ángeles y se retransmitirá en directo por NBC el 14 de septiembre. El programa también se retransmitirá en directo a través de Peacock.
La presentadora será Mariska Hargitay, protagonista de “Law & Order: SVU”.
